Our team is dedicated, and bring diverse and local perspectives and ideas to solving some of the State’s most challenging workforce development policy problems. Our goals are to reduce the workforce shortage and increase Nevada’s labor force participation, diversify Nevada’s workforce to align with the State’s economic development efforts, and equip all Nevadans with the skills they need to succeed.

EmployNV Business Hubs

EmployNV.gov is Nevada’s largest database of active job seekers. EmployNV allows you to customize your job listings and sends alerts when a candidate applies or meets your requirements. The site also provides for on-demand or virtual candidate matching. EmployNV can be searched both locally and nationally increasing your chances of obtaining a robust pool of qualified applicants.

EmployNV.gov allows you to research labor market information by area, industry, education, and occupation. This vital information is provided to you by Nevada’s Research and Analysis Bureau. Our EmployNV Business Hub team can put together customized reports for your business.

Hiring Events and Job Fairs:

We are experts at hosting successful hiring events and job fairs, including virtual on-line events. These events can be hosted at one of our offices or your business site. We promote attendance through our community partners, and advanced promotion on TV, radio, press release, social media, and our state job board, EmployNV.gov.

Financial Incentives:

EmployNV Business Hub offers a variety of financial incentives to help businesses grow and prosper. Our incentives range from hiring and training incentives to tax credits for hiring Nevadans. Our goal is to ensure that you consistently hire, train, and retain qualified candidates. Businesses must have a valid business license and an unemployment insurance account in good standing to utilize incentives.

Whether you are looking for work, changing jobs or exploring new career opportunities, our career hubs are here to help with no-cost employment and training assistance.

At our hubs you will have the chance to work one-on-one with a career coach who can help with your resume, job matching, and additional ways to enhance your career path.

Other services include:

  • Get help with resume building and review, skills assessments and interviewing skills.
  • Funding to complete courses and credentials such as CDL licenses and IT credentials.
  • Vocational Rehabilitation staff are ready to assist people with disabilities with resources.
  • Help with certifications like OSHA 10 and work cards, including food handler card, alcohol awareness card, gaming, and non- gaming cards.
  • Assistance paying for uniforms, work boots, certain tools needed to enter or return to work.
  • Career exploration through Virtual Reality (VR). Using VR goggles job seekers can dive into a fully immersive and interactive experience, exploring careers and completing job-specific tasks.
